One of SeaFirst’s guiding principles is to encourage and support community involvement.
One way we work to achieve this is through a company wide Wednesday Jeans Day fundraising initiative.
Staff members who wear jeans will donate $5 each Wednesday, or $20 for the month. The year is divided into two terms: January to June, and July to December.
SeaFirst staff then vote on a charity each term from a list of charities nominated by each participating staff member.
For our June to December 2018 term, Help Fill a Dream won that survey and we raised $1,650.00 between staff and client donations!

Although the true impact of a Dream can never be measured in terms of dollars and cents, through the generosity of our donors, we are able to offer children and families the support they truly need. Your gifts are essential to the work we do every day.
All of the funds raised stay here to help Vancouver Island children and currently we are supporting 500 Vancouver Island families.
